Oh Hai There.

Weeee I am so excited to finally post this character. She has been in the works for a long long time...like at least a year I would say (I recall doing the first sketch of her while waiting for a play to start at the local theatre).

However it wasn't until a few days ago I finally (with a little help XP) found a name for her.

Dawn is a spotted owl, hence why she is turning her head almost entirely around. I stuck pretty close to the actual spotted owl look, excepting only that spotted owls are one of the few species of owl who have entirely black eyes. Also the way she is looking should be impossible for an owl, as the reason owls turn their heads ridiculous amounts is because they cant look sideways with just their eyes. Yay knowledge. Personally, I am just more fond of the gold eyes.

Dawn is a pretty shy owl, she enjoys reading and is curious about most of everything. Her name is derived from Dawn being her favorite time of the day, as it means it is time for bed ^^

Alright personal stuff out of the way. Now to do those commissions!
